A special thanks to Dave, Ron, and Kurt for allowing us access, and to Lianna Sapien and her crew from Mount SAC's online newspaper Mountiewire.com for covering our follow up to our previous investigation.

Current pictures of interest, Ghost Man in the Balcony. Image on the right was snapped 10 seconds after the picture on the left. He friggin moved!

The Granada Theater in Ontario, California, is a unique place in some ways, and not so unique in others. An old, run down theater, like hundreds across the nation makes it's not so unique. That it has thousands of stories is not unique. That there have been hundreds if not thousands of people who have cared about this building over the decades: a little unique. That there is a small group of people working ceaselessly to get it back into shape is sort of unique, and a really big job. That there are ghosts present nearly all the time is unique.
As I wrote one of our team members, and will paste here largely unedited:

I did get a definite feeling, and I really want to say it was from THE BUILDING ITSELF although I know that's crazy because a structure can not have a memory, feelings and such, that the Granada is ashamed. Ashamed of it's current condition. Angry at it's neglect and mis-use. Sad and pining for it's glory days, when the people came in excited and happy to be there, rather than quite and reflective in it's use as a church. People inquisitive, scared, sometimes horrified, like entering a "House of Horrors" with all the ghost investigations, rather than in happy expectation that a night (or matinee) away at the movie brings. The building feels that it can still be put to good, wholesome use, possibly hosting the school districts plays, regularly scheduled old movie nights, etc.
I know it's not the building projecting this, but rather those who left their indelible imprint, and those who stayed behind, as well as those who come back to visit. And many they are.

On to the haunting itself, and a quick note. When I and we do an investigation, the property itself and any entities within pretty much dictate the method we use in attempting to interact with them. One of the guides said at one point during an EVP session "...for the sake of being bait, you might remember that the spirits you're dealing with will be much more accustomed to over politeness." He really had no clue what I sensed, but it's sound advice when warranted. I, however, chose to use a Direct-No Nonsense-Fairly Polite method. How 'bout we talk, face to face.
As a sensitive, I largely reflect back that which I am given, and in the upper balcony I was being challenged. Not a "hey let's fight" challenge, but more a "what's it your business who haunts this place," 'who goes there' type of curiosity, so I kept fairly neutral until I knew if this spirit was the nasty sort or not. If it was nasty, I much rather it take it out on me rather than my people. I felt whatever or whomever it was flitting around me to the sides and past me was simply curious about who I was, and how well I could sense them, but they weren't going to make it easy. This bears out by two of our members saw a black undefined shape moving up to and past me several times in the dark. Justin and Sergio were likewise inspected from a couple rows away by a black mass. The only evidence we have of this is my video camera going crazy trying to focus on something it could not see, even with nightvision working, and that's weak because my auto focus just doesn't work that well in nightvision mode, but it generally doesn't flip out like it did on the balcony.

EVP leaving the basement, reversed.

Investigated By Justin, Steve, Perry, Bridget, Scott, Sergio, Amber
We found a whole lot or orbs on our pictures, which means very little, as orbs are usually dust or insects, but the sheer sizes and number of them was peculiar.

The whole crew, except the photographer, Amber. From left, Scott, Perry,
Bridget, Sergio, Steve, Justin, and the Granada Theater's head honcho, Dave.

Captured 10-24-09
This picture was snapped by Amber from the top balcony. Look into the square archway to the left of the stage. See where the curtain parts? I looks as if something is there.
In picture left to right is: Scott, Steve, Guide, and another guide far right. It is pitch black in here, we're at the top of the theater, the 2nd balcony, and you're only able to see because of the flash from Amber's camera. There's only one orb in this photo, above and to the left of Scott. Probably dust. The rest of the group are to the left out of camera range. This was right after the EVP session.

Here's what we saw when we blew the picture up. It looks to be a little girl in the lower outline, and above her head seems to be another face. We're going back there on the 29th, and we will thoroughly try and disprove our own photo, and update you then.
Update 10-30-09
Behind the parted curtains are white stairs that lead up to the back stage area. The bottom face actually appears to be superimposed on the white background
of the stairs, which is partially why we can see it. There is no explanation as to why it appears, so we're calling it valid. The upper disembodied face is just creepy,
and we could find no explanation for it either. Verdict? Valid.

Here's an earlier photo from a slightly different angle.
There are two large and one small orb present, but look
between those same curtains.

Small orb by pipe organ vent (has a small cross in it) and
larger orb over stage. This orb has a second orb within it.

There's something there.
